Solid steady night at bon air! With 54 covers, everything sat inside because of the cold weather so we were pretty full in the building. The bowl and special were very popular with the sushi roll selling out!! Jordan from titleholders came to join us for bartender training and was a huge help! Other than that, no issues or problems at all. It was a great day and all members were full and happy. Kevin from men’s grill heard members in MG talk about how great the Bon air is and how the food is exceptional, so that was great to hear!

Lunch service was a slower day with a total of 40 covers. We offered specials specifically for St. Patrick’s Day, selling 1 bowl and 12 specials. Mr. Myers had a large table at 1:00, and we also saw regulars such as Mrs. Bunny. Due to the cold weather, the patio was not used. The Presidents Room went smoothly with the help of the banquet staff. Overall, service ran without any issues.

Another Social down. Service went really well, but we had an ongoing issue with the temperature in the ballroom. Mr. Mcleod asked several times if it could be colder...we turned every thermostat down and opened all the doors including all of the patios; he was upset, especially near the end of entrees, but we did literally everything we could. No other issues though, staff did really well with service.

Slow steady night for Bon air. Total of 56 covers, we had an early start of people arriving at 4:45. We were able to start service a little earlier and accommodate our members. The weekly specials were once again a hit as well as the smashburger. Other than that, no issues or problems to report. Great service and great food

Great evening for the Westminster parents and family. We assisted with a few setup needs for a while, and everything including the buffet, was set by arrival time. The bar lines were LONG...except for the Prefunction bar. We were definitely strapped for people tonight but everyone worked super hard and made it happen. The food line got very long as well but we did a little crowd control (nudging people along, etc). We also had a teachable moment about remembering to pass with napkins and such... No big issues, everyone seemed to leave very happy. Staff did amazing with the volume

it was a pretty busy night at Bon Air with a total of 73 covers. We had a good amount of big groups tonight such as the badger’s and McDaniels. Smashburgers were a hit along with the weekly bowl and hand breaded tenders. It was very helpful tonight having an expo and two people as food runners / DRA’s, keep the flow going and helped the restaurant not look as cluttered after a huge rush. No issues or problems at to report. Overall great night!!

Pretty steady and consistent day for a Wednesday at the Bon Air. With a total of 63 covers, we had our normal regulars come in along with the tennis clinic. Specials did well today and were on top with the best seller smash burger. Other than that, nothing crazy to report. Kids got a little too rowdy for a second (throwing stuff, screaming, running under peoples tables) but it got tame a little bit after that. Great shift!

Titleholders experienced a steady lunch service today with a total of 62 covers. We hosted Paul Trotter and his work team in the Founders Room, while the Bernstein meeting from the Presidents Room joined us later in the afternoon for lunch as well. The patio was especially popular due to the beautiful weather, and many members chose to sit outside to watch the Hump Day Golf Tournament taking place. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable as members gathered to enjoy both the view and the event. Overall, the service ran smoothly throughout the afternoon with no issues or concerns reported. Members were pleased with both their food quality and service, making for a successful lunch period.

Garden Clubs (Azalea, Bulbs+Borders)

Banquet
Jack Montgomery Sunny

Everything went well, on time, and quickly for both groups today. Azalea had their first lunch on the veranda of the season, which they loved. They only had 30 ladies eating even though we were asked to add an extra seat for 34. Bulbs and Borders went off without a hitch as well, with 31 on the dot. Thankfully Claude and I convinced the speaker to just use the TV that was already set up in the Wallace House instead of a screen and projector, which saved everyone a ton of time as always. No issues with either party, everything was great.

Tonight was a surprisingly busy night for a Saturday in Titleholders. With a total of 155 covers, we had members rolling in early wanting the patio because of the beautiful weather. It got a little hectic in the beginning, due to everyone sitting all at once and not having a food runner at first, but the staff worked swiftly and we were able to bounce back. We had Carl from banquets come downstairs and help with food running and he did an amazing job! No problems or issues to report. Overall a great warm night! -Devan

Tonight was a semi busy night for Bon Air. Normally we are super busy but I guess the sunny hot weather was not bringing them in. With a total of 41 covers we had our normal crowd and some new faces as well. There was slight issues between FOH and BOH with messed up orders and miscommunication. A few orders were coming out incorrect, Gould Hagler received a to go order that was completely wrong and he drove to Bon Air with the wrong order to asked for a refund. I apologized and voided the order for him. The server, Dylan, had correctly put in the order but there was confusion with this particular ticket and then a solo to go order ticket. Overall, I am ensuring there will be better communication for both sides. Other than that, members were happy and it was a great night with no other issues to report.

Tonight was an especially busy evening at Bon Air, with many of our regular members coming in to dine with their families and children. We experienced a large wave of guests arriving around the same time, which created a brief period where the dining room and kitchen were moving at a very fast pace. Despite the sudden volume, the team stayed focused and worked together to keep service running smoothly. Communication between the front-of-house and kitchen staff was strong, allowing us to manage orders efficiently and keep tables turning. The presence of many families added to the lively atmosphere, and it was great to see so many of our members enjoying time together. Although the rush created a hectic stretch for a bit, the staff handled it well and kept a positive attitude throughout the night. Service recovered quickly, and we were able to maintain good timing and quality for the remainder of the evening. Overall, it was a successful night. Every member was taken care of, and guests left happy, satisfied, and full. Great teamwork from everyone involved.

Today was another very successful night at the Bon Air! With a total of 84 covers, we have our usual group of people with their kids of course. I received a few complaints about how crazy and rambunctious the kids are in the restaurant, but naturally there’s nothing we can really do about that. Maybe we can send an email? BOH and FOH got behind in the middle service but we bounced back and were able to catch up. We definitely would benefit from having a dish washer, and added people in the kitchen and FOH staff. Other than that, all the members were very happy and pleased with their service!
