We started late as to be expected. Dinner service started @ 8:20. Everything went smoothly. We had requests for espresso martinis. We will be sure to have everything requested tomorrow. All of the apps went on the bar and we will be sure to do that again going forward.
Everything was smooth as normal.
Breakfast: 16 Lunch: 26 All was well for Golf Channel today. As always we had a large group of stragglers that held us up after lunch, but everything went well! No issues
Masters day 2 Tuesday. Beautiful weather. Breakfast and lunch were both slow. The courtyard bar saw some good action while we got some of the over flow. Not much to talk about for dinner as we didn't have any tables. No issues. KRS
Things picked up just a bit on day 2. there were quite a few members confused on forms of payment because the guest card said credit card on it.. weird . But all in all things ran smoothly. The weather was nicer so we had some patio action .
This event was held in the Summerhouse. The menu was popular and a lot of compliments on the food.
Breakfast: 26 Lunch: 24 Good sized breakfast and lunch for the Golf Channel group today. All went well
Day 1 masters Monday. Breakfast buffet was set and ready. Not very busy as rain all day. Some early golfers ate and went out. Tee times were light. Mid day brought a steady but not busy flow of people even though the national closed for weather. Dinner time we had a few tables eat. No issues. KRS
Day 1 Begins! Very rainy day in TH! The day started slow so we rotated instead of sections . Although we were prepared for a big crowd if the nationals closed, We didn’t get very busy. We Saw a bit more guests and still a good bunch of members . we did a hard close for breakfast and lunch . All went well
This event was held in the lounge. Everything went well. Surprisingly everything also went on time. They also did a history tour of the club with their host.
This event was held in the Summerhouse. Everything went well. Staff is now is checking on the Wallace House and restocking
Busy, rainy lunch today for the Golf Channel folks. Evelyn, Justin and Brice did great running food and making sure the buffet was always stocked. All good stuff today We did have one gentleman (one of the late ones from yesterday actually) come in the summerhouse looking for food at about 2:30 (again).
Everything went well; I met with the host right when he got here and unfortunately the setup was incorrect (to no fault of our own). Greg, Claude and I got it all set to a u-shape instead of the rounds immediately after being informed and the host was very chill about the whole ordeal. He also let us know that their second round of people was only 16, so that helped with space. Everyone worked together to refresh the room at about 10:25 and all went well.
We started with about 140 on the books. We took a few walk ins right out the gate to fill our empty tables. We worked out most of the kinks we ran into so far. Everyone was fed and happy.
Pretty steady day for “ Masters day -1 “. Everyone was set perfectly and we were prepared. We had a 22 top of ladies for the national ladies luncheon; on the patio today .shawn and Jackey split the table . They preorder 2 bottles of Chardonnay and 2 bottles of rose . All went well . JP Morgan had large group in as well. They dined at table 70 . We saw a few members today; the Adams, the. Norris’s , dr cagle, the Lamar/mccall family and J Kay Sr and wife . no issues to report. Smooth day servers adjusted to marking up items by the end of the shift . Savannah and I extensively went over CC charges and guests cards .
Super slow breakfast, Marrissa and Evelyn did great as always (9 covers) Less busy of a lunch today but we had a couple stragglers and didn't get to shut down the buffet until about 3:00. Luckily they caught us right as we started. No issues (16 covers)
Fairly busy Saturday night! We were immediately greeted with a full patio which included the Lewis's and the Petersons. They all said everything was great. We also had a group at the fireplace which included Mr. Bachelder and Mr. Beech who drank multiple bottles of wine. Our last table to come in was Dr. Whitehouse with a 5 top who sat at 8:50, and the kitchen and FOH staff handled it well and got them sat and food as quickly as possible. A lot of setup for masters week was knocked out tonight as well. No issues to report.
First Golf Channel breakfast down, Shannon and the ladies kept a good eye on everyone. No issues
Great first Golf Channel lunch. The team is very accustomed to all the ins and outs with this group so no issues, everything went well
steady lunch. we had another lunch on the patio day . Montie Maners requested the founders for 11 to celebrate a friends birthday but they turned into a 3 top on the patio, they had a few rounds of aperol spritz. Katie Mccutcheon and sally lightsey had lunch in a booth. the cagles popped in for their usual lunch together. The Dolans had lunch on the patio. Kathryn Edmondson celebrated a friends birthday and treated her to lunch. we had the keystone meeting come down for lunch, they dined on the patio as well. Randy hatcher and a guest had a quick lunch as well we sold 7 bowls and 5 lunch specials
Dinner was great tonight! The ladies locker room mahjong group had a good night, we had a pretty full restaurant and everyone seemed very pleased!
another slow day in TH. everyone must be getting ready for masters week. influx of to go orders. the bowden/bunny crew were in. we had a few tennis ladies dine in. we were down a server but all went well today. no issues reported
Pretty quiet Tuesday. We had Mr. Eaves host a business dinner in Founder's room. They went up to 10 guests, although several of them asked for their food to be boxed, so they could leave early. Amanda was on top of them all night. We had quite a few late togo orders from the bar, men's grille, and over the phone. There was a decent cocktailing crowd in the courtyard for Chrissy Cunningham's birthday. The only issue on the night was with the Gaudin togo order. There was no lettuce or pickles with her junior burger, and she was given fries instead of fruit. We took the junior burger completely off the check for her. No other issues to report. 5 specials, 1 catch, 3 apps, 2 bowls.
