Set for 22, and once with 22 guests in the room, we ended up serving 20 gentlemen their traditional ribeye steak lunch. They had a blast. Claude and crew did a great job overall and Evelyn and Kevin were great with drinks during arrival. Mr Hugh Hamilton and many others were very happy with their experience with us.

Nothing too crazy tonight the wine tasting was somewhat popular but everyone that tried them enjoyed! Peppermint hammers flying out the bar per usual! Nothing too crazy to report. Great night!

Another Hull-Barrett in the books. Everything went very smoothly, just very slow the whole night. It was dead before 10:00...just a crowd of about 10 people hung out until 11. Marrissa and Janae did a great job with the kids room as expected. No issues

Slower lunch than expected. "Warmer weather" today brought us more golfers then earlier this week. Service went well. Card players gathered after lunch. Golf groups made their way in. No issues. KRS

The luncheon went very well. They were quite happy. There was one small issue with the mimosas. We served mimosas per the BEO and she said she emailed to have them removed. I apologized for the issue and we stopped serving the mimosas. I also let her know that they would not be added to her bill. She was very pleased and gracious about the situation.

First really big night of the holiday season! We had lots of big family parties, including the Perrys and the Walters. We had a 16 top for Lewis and Lauren White at 7:30. The didnt show up until after 7:30, and then couldnt figure out exactly how many people they had. They kind of just sat wherever they could in the bar. We did a champagne toast for Dr. White's birthday at the big ladies table. The dinner went off without a hitch. No issues to report.

Round two for Platt's tonight minus the liquor. They behaved themselves and enjoyed dinner. They took a little while to get settled in and start their small intros and prayers, but everything went really well with Khoris on the bar and Tiffany leading the service staff. Trainees Cori and Lakesia are doing great so far.

Great time for the Blanchard and Calhoun folks. They poured in pretty fast after their start time and hit the bars and stations. Staff did a good job at staying attentive. The bar shut down right at 8:00 and guests soon followed. No issues

New lunch menu. Not a super busy Wednesday but still an ok turn out. New items sold were meatball sub, country fried steak and the pork belly wrap. Food was well received. The pickled ginger was mentioned as a bit much on the pork belly but the rest of the wrap was liked. We sold a couple of country fried steaks through the day and more gravey was requested a few times. Maybe add a small ramakin of gravey on the side with the plated meal? Golfers came and went. Aga mostly had soup when they arived. Dinner went well. A few tables and togos along side our card players. The lamb was well liked as was the cfs but more gravey was wanted from what went out on the plate. Over all no issues. KRS

Everything went well for both of the Garden Club groups today; Iris and Azalea. Everyone was on time and had the right amount of people (18 and 28, respectively). Captains and staff did great. Nothing to say, no issues this morning!

Today was a steady and consistent lunch service in Titleholders. With a total of 80 covers, we were pretty much busy the whole time and eventually died down around 1:30. We had a group of ladies playing bridge in the lounge who eventually joined us for lunch and had about 12 tennis ladies sitting in the bar area. Other than that, we got nothing but good feedback about the new menu and there were no problems or issues to report. -Devan

Service went swift and very well. Presetting was no problem! We did run into a few issues as far as unaccounted guest and special requests for salads. A lot request for the salads were no cheese, no onions, no dressing, extra dressing, different dressings. We also had a vegetarian and we had to set a table for 5 extra people. We were quickly able to accommodate and the kitchen had food ready to go.

Garden Clubs

Banquet
Jack Montgomery

Everything went well for both the garden clubs today. Small thing with the Heritage + Legacy GC at the WH, we had 11:30 lunch on the BEO, however once they sat down right on time, with the salads on the table, the went into a meeting instead of rolling right into lunch like we planned. So they ended up eating about 30mins after the fact. No big deal though, everyone seemed happy! Otherwise, for Pine Needle in the Lounge, everything went great and on time. No big issues

Rainy and cold. Lunch started slow with no golfers. A couple of lunch meetings took place. Duncan Johnson and Judge Flyth ate together. Both ordered the french dip and both complained they were not good. Said they were too light on the meat and bread was tuff. I offered new plates or more meat but both declined. Both only ate a bit or 2. They got soup instead. Card players arived early. Some folks gathered after work for a bit and there were some togo orders through the afternoon. No other issues. KRS

Turned out to be a busier night than what the reservation sheet was telling us. There was some sort of dance recital that no one made reservations for plus POPS. There were issues with the Mcknights food being rung in/ forgotten to be rang in that wound up with the entire bill being comped (see email). They wound up leaving happy at the end of the night. We had several late tables including the Brannons. All the booths were sat, and their food was all coming out at the same time. The Brannon's food got mistakenly dropped at the Parrishs' table. When the Brannons tried to wave down the food runners to tell them that they thought their food went to another table, no one saw. Their food was pushed from the kitchen at 8:43 and we finally dropped their food to their table at 9:04. I gave the food runners a lesson on keeping their eyes and attention focused on the members around them, so we can catch any mistakes that may happen quicker. We apologized to the Brannons, and comped their bill. We offered to grab anything they wanted on us, and they went for glasses of wine. I don't think that fully smoothed it over, but we did the best we could.

Everything went great! Tiffany and Kevin assisted the host with some AV needs before arrival so everything was set and ready by the time guests started coming in. They didn't hit the bar too incredibly hard and enjoyed a little bit of the buffet. No issues
