Smooth service overall for a Thursday night two for one. Patio was packed as anticipated and everyone had a great experience. Taylor, Valentine and Caroline were all great behind the bar and floor servers were all on task and attentive. Shout out to Maria for sticking through the rush and getting the evening started off on a great note

Dinner started off on the slower side tonight but picked up around 6:30, bringing in a nice flow of guests. The McDaniels joined us for dinner and shared nothing but positive feedback about both the food and the service, which was wonderful to hear. We had a solid mix of returners and new faces, with the smash burger once again being the standout favorite of the evening. In total, we did 32 covers, which was a bit lower than yesterday, but we’re optimistic about seeing a bigger crowd tomorrow night. The shift ran smoothly from start to finish with no issues.

Tonight we had 51 covers, which was a noticeable jump from last week and brought a lively energy to the evening. Promoting on social media clearly paid off, as we saw more traffic and even had some guests return from last week to try new menu items. The smash burger continued to be a standout favorite and received plenty of compliments. We were originally expecting a 15-top for a surprise birthday party, but only 5 guests arrived. Despite the smaller group, they had a wonderful time and gave us rave reviews. Overall, the night ran smoothly with no issues, and it was a great day for Bon Air Kitchen.

We finished the night with 100 covers, making for a slow but consistent pace throughout service. The bar and patio stayed busy and provided most of the activity, while the dining room remained empty except for our preassigned reservation at 7:30. Because of the lack of traffic inside, I went ahead and cut both Tori and Sanya early. Service ran smoothly with no issues, guests seemed to enjoy the atmosphere on the patio, and closing was efficient and well-organized, wrapping up the night without any problems.

Strong pasta night - 14 in founders (Hatcher / Bundy) and 15 at the outdoor fireplace (engler) kept us on our toes. Shawn took great care of the founders and Tori crushed the outdoor fireplace. No lags in service and everyone did great to make it happen. Devan and Maria were all over it and led the charge through the thick of service.

My first Sunday Funday from start to finish! (Once a year when Cory and Sav are on vacay) Devan was such a huge help today from start to finish . It’s currently 850pm and I’m still here 😒 . but anywho . We had a lot of people all day . To many to name . But we had a full staff for all shifts 💪🏾 (6 servers and 4DRAs both shifts ) and I’m very proud to admit there was ONLY ONE mishap that was handled very quickly. Niya took Mrs Brittingham order for a Reuben for a to go dinner and I had to call back for a substitution . She ordered a tenderloin and Andy got it to me quickly .Handled! Engler fireplace dinner went from 17 to 12 to 15 . Shout out to Joe and Tori Cam Brown “round two” in founders went well . They finally sat down after an hour and a half of cocktailing . Shawn served them Kiara had a 18 top on the patio and did great while maintaining all her other tables in the bar and patio . over all a great day, until next year 😘 TH covers breakfast:60 lunch: 182 dinner: 197

Tonight at Bon Air Kitchen we served 33 covers, and the evening started off busy before slowing down around 7:00 PM. The servers and staff did an excellent job maintaining efficient ticket times and engaging warmly with guests, which contributed to a smooth and enjoyable service. The most popular items of the night were the birria tacos and the fresca paloma, both of which were well received by guests. We had many happy families dining with us, and several took advantage of the game counter, adding to the lively and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a great Friday night filled with positive energy and excellent teamwork from the staff.

Tonight was a bit busier than our opening day, with 42 covers and a lively crowd. Guests gave us plenty of praise and compliments on the new menu, with the smash burger once again proving to be the most popular item. The new Fresca Paloma cocktail was especially well received by the adults, adding to the upbeat and welcoming vibe of the evening. Overall, it was a great night with a strong crowd and positive energy throughout the restaurant.

Today marked the official opening of Bon Air Kitchen, and while it was a slower start with 37 covers, it was a strong and positive beginning. Guests praised both the food and the inviting new atmosphere, creating a warm and lively vibe throughout the evening. The Adams party brought in an 11-top with their friends and shared that they plan to make Bon Air a weekly tradition, which was wonderful to hear. Standout highlights included the smash burger, which received excellent feedback, and the record player, which quickly became a guest favorite. The slower pace likely reflected the midweek timing, but we are hopeful for increased traffic as we head into Thursday and Friday.

The soft opening of Bon Air Kitchen was a smooth and productive night, allowing us to test the printers, POS system, and kitchen flow while addressing final details. We hosted the housing committee and several board members, with the Reese’s Birria Tacos standing out as a crowd favorite. The only critique was regarding the front decorations, but overall, the evening was a great opportunity to preview operations and build excitement for what’s ahead.

Dinner service tonight was slow but steady, with a total of 152 covers, making for a manageable pace throughout the evening. While overall traffic was consistent, only seven guests chose to order the fried oyster special, which saw limited interest, whereas the lamb lollipops stood out as the clear favorite and sold very well. A good portion of guests came in to watch the US Open, creating a lively energy in certain areas, particularly on the patio, which remained busy for most of the night. In contrast, the dining room stayed relatively quiet, allowing the team to stay on top of service without feeling rushed. Despite the slower flow in some areas, the night went smoothly with no issues, and the atmosphere overall felt relaxed yet productive. It was a solid evening of service with a balanced pace, happy guests, and strong teamwork across the board. -Devan

Tonight’s pasta night was smooth and successful despite being a bit slower due to the Labor Day holiday, starting off with a good small crowd early in service, with many guests requesting patio seating to enjoy the evening weather. Valentine created a fantastic mocktail option for a member who wanted a fun, fruity drink without alcohol, which was well-received and added a nice personal touch to the night. The shrimp protein option at the pasta bar was especially popular and received no complaints. Although we were scheduled to host an eight-top for the Pope’s anniversary celebration, the party did not show, but aside from that cancellation the evening ran smoothly and was enjoyable for both members and staff! -Devan

No actual summerhouse service today due to subpar weather, but we had the Sweetings birthday party as planned! Everything went great, no notes. Kellyanne and Connie Jones were extremely grateful as always, and told us how awesome we always are! They had a great time despite the changes and dreary day
