Dinner service tonight was slow but steady, with a total of 152 covers, making for a manageable pace throughout the evening. While overall traffic was consistent, only seven guests chose to order the fried oyster special, which saw limited interest, whereas the lamb lollipops stood out as the clear favorite and sold very well. A good portion of guests came in to watch the US Open, creating a lively energy in certain areas, particularly on the patio, which remained busy for most of the night. In contrast, the dining room stayed relatively quiet, allowing the team to stay on top of service without feeling rushed. Despite the slower flow in some areas, the night went smoothly with no issues, and the atmosphere overall felt relaxed yet productive. It was a solid evening of service with a balanced pace, happy guests, and strong teamwork across the board. -Devan

Tonight’s pasta night was smooth and successful despite being a bit slower due to the Labor Day holiday, starting off with a good small crowd early in service, with many guests requesting patio seating to enjoy the evening weather. Valentine created a fantastic mocktail option for a member who wanted a fun, fruity drink without alcohol, which was well-received and added a nice personal touch to the night. The shrimp protein option at the pasta bar was especially popular and received no complaints. Although we were scheduled to host an eight-top for the Pope’s anniversary celebration, the party did not show, but aside from that cancellation the evening ran smoothly and was enjoyable for both members and staff! -Devan

Tonight was just OVERFLOWING with fun activities… literally. We welcomed the Trotters and friends in for their dinner, they seemed to enjoy the night and especially the wine😆 the presidents room and founders both enjoyed their nights! In the restaurant we didn’t have too many tables at all tonight but everyone seemed happy!

Today was a consistent steady night. We started off with 31 on the books but doubled it with 68. We had some of our usuals members come in such as the Abbots and celebrated Mr.Neils 90th birthday with friends and family on the terrace. Dr. Bedder came in for the calf liver special and was not to be missed. Bar had a little rush at first, half stayed for dinner half went elsewhere. Overall a great night! -Devan
