Breakfast was busy today 33 covers , 23 of which were the LGA and AU golfers. Lunch, also very busy. With the snow and rain we’ve had the last two weeks members expressed it was a beautiful day to dine at the club . Staff were vigilant and busy the entire shift , many times we had 4-5 tables sitting at one time . Myself the hostess DRAs and Bartenders jumped in to take drink orders . We had the first Friday group in founders with Jackey , and two bridge groups . Whitney walker also had a 8top rsvp to celebrate a birthday .

We had a solid, busy shift with 42 covers. As usual, the Ashmores joined us, along with other familiar families such as the Adams and the Trotters. The rib special continues to be especially popular this week, and guests have been loving both the service and the food, as always. No issues or problems to report. The staff stayed on top of everything, and the shift ran smoothly from start to finish.

Tonight at bon air was overall pretty slow. We started to pick up when the tennis clinic finished and we got a good crowd from that wanting food and drinks. We had our normal regulars, the Lopez’s, come eat and they were satisfied with the food and overall service. Nothing eventful with no problems or issues to report. I had a few members tell me they had no idea bon air was a thing/open, so I think we may need to revisit overall advertisement for the restaurant.

David/Ivey Engagement

Banquet
100
covers
Jack Montgomery Wallace House

Busy night for staff at the Wallace House. Once the David/Ivey engagement party kicked off, they RIPPED through the bar and food right up until the end. There were most definitely more than 75 of the expected people tonight, which we thought would happen anyways. For a period of time there was about 100, but the crowd dwindled down to 85 later in the night. They also left way past their explicitly stated time. Janae, Jesse, Qynun and Kevin M. did a great job keeping everything stocked and clean all night

Heritage Dinner

Banquet
184
covers
Jack Montgomery Ball Room

Everything went well for the Heritage folks tonight. They were seated roughly around 7:40, on time for the most part. Staff hustled hard to get poured wine and bread out after their short blessing. We,(naturally) were short on rocks glasses in the beginning of the bar rush, so bartenders put out some cocktails in wine glasses instead of rocks for a few minutes. This is obviously a problem, but it later became a (smaller) issue that some of the ladies couldn't get their cocktails in wine glasses instead of rocks like they wanted.... Staff overall did a great job keeping up with the crowd tonight and executing dinner service in a timely manner

Garden Clubs

Banquet

Everything went well for both of the garden clubs today (Hillside + Pine Needle)! Both groups went on time and everyone's numbers were correct. We did have a surprise tomato allergy in Pine Needle; Tiffany handled it and got her a different soup, no biggie. No issues!
