The Report
Very quick and small voting lunch for the Exchange Club gentlemen. We actually had a ton (8) salads left over this time. No issues!

UHRAA
Same old same old with this group.
We did put up a tea and coffee station this year, while still doing coffee service several times, which did help quite a bit. Service did go a lot smoother this year; less running around than usual.

Saturday Night
Midsouth/Piazza:
The Lounge only ended up with 12 guests. As we learned throughout the night with all the parties, the GA game ended up stalling a bit of service. They ate their apps at the bar while it finished out. Otherwise, Amanda, Shannon and Jesse took great care of everyone.
Platts:
Same deal at the WH. Food was out and ready about 30 minutes before anyone actually moved from the bar and TV to eat dinner. The hors d'oeuvre table was very well utilized however. No issues! This group was pretty quick.
Nicholson-Revell:
The Ballroom group had no issues as well. They hit the buffet pretty hard for quite some time and the bars were slammed, but always stocked. They lingered (until about 5 minutes before this report), but clearly enjoyed themselves. Onto Brunch!

Doctor's Hospital, Newton Rehearsal Dinner, Lopez Christmas Dinner
**_`Doctor's Hospital `_**
The event went very well considering we were short staffed. No issues to report. Claude was outstanding as usual and really did a great job of covering the floor. Ronda was sent home due to medical issues. I will write an incident report regarding those issues.
**_`Lopez Christmas Party `_**
All was well at the Wallace House for the Lopez's'. They were very happy with everything and gave great compliments about Kevin. They did eat a little late (over an Hour behind schedule) but all was well.
**_`Newton Rehearsal Dinner`_**
This event was very rocky from the start. The planner seemed to be all over the place and Mr. Newton wasn't too much better. They immediately complained about the heaters. He said they were supposed to have 4. They had 1, and we provided 2 extra that was not initially asked for in planning/BEO.
Service was all over the place. Because we were short staffed Jack and I came over to help where needed. Which was everywhere. I helped bartend, water down, serve salads, clear dinner, and cut/serve cake. Staff was working there tail off. Morale started to dip because they couldn't finish one task without the planner asking them to do something else ahead of service. I had to tell her that flow of service was off because of her request. She called tables to eat off the Buffett while salads were being served. Then while guests were still going through the Buffett she was ready for cake and coffee. So at one point we had staff serving coffee, I was cutting cake, clearing dinner plates, Jack was serving wine, and people still eating dinner. It was not a cohesive service. To end the night we started champagne in the middle of cake and coffee. I stopped for serving cake because they were ready for champagne. Champagne service took a while because we had to offer half spritzers and half Champagne. In the middle of champagne she then asked for velvet hammers.Extreme impatience all day and night. I had to tell her she was not allowing service to flow or allowing servers to finish one task before asking for another. Even in the beginning of the night before guests arrived they could not finish setting up because she was last minute moving and changing things.

Another Santa Dinner on books. The different lanes/partitions for Santa pictures helped a ton with the flow of seating in the ballroom. Lots of no-shows...upstairs at least which probably contributed to it feeling super slow at times. But a good dinner all in all
