Camilla GC/Heritage GC

Banquet
Jack Montgomery

Jake took care of both of these groups with a small team. Camilla was in the PDR and Heritage was held in the Ridgely. Both groups went off on time and staff juggled the timelines exceptionally. Taylor and Dallah cocktailed drinks for the ladies in the PDR from the Lounge bar. They didn't quite bite at first but once lunch began, they started ordering drinks. The hostess for Heritage ended up nixing all of the AV and the podium.

This event was held in the Lounge. No issues; we had a cart ready by the door for the ladies before they arrived to setup and one of the hostesses informed us they had some cancellations. They went into their meeting shortly after enjoying coffee and tea, and we began service shortly after. Shannon killed it with staying on the floor clearing and serving.

Very successful night! The wedding reception started off about thirty minutes later than expected due to late arrivals. However, the rush of people was handled extremely well by the bar and our passers. We heard nothing but great things throughout the night from the McManus', the Mother of the Bride, and numerous other guests. The team also did a wonderful job staying on top of clearing and keeping everything stocked and ready for service. A great night with nothing but great things said about the team and the venue!

Marquitta Price Wallace House

The Rehearsal Dinner in the Wallace House went well. They did start a little late, but all was well. We did not serve ice cream because the event was in the Wallace House and we don't serve ice cream in the Wallace House. They enjoyed the peach cobbler and the other desserts. Once the Rehearsal Dinner was over the guests began to join the others in the Lounge for the welcome party. I made contact with the host in the beginning and setup a hot tea and coffee station for her and went over timing. The host seemed to be confused about how many guests were at the Rehearsal Dinner and what time they might be coming over, so I reassured and went over the timeline and what she could possibly expect and how we could handle any issue that might arise. There might have been almost 140 people for the welcome party but the desserts were fine and did not need to be replenished. Despite a member passing out everything went well and a lot of compliments on Shantia!
